Referral Terms
These terms cover SlumberPal’s refer-a-friend scheme. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Notice. The scheme is run by Slumber Pal Ltd, trading as SlumberPal, 1 Lyndhurst Road, Londonderry, BT47 5HS, United Kingdom.
1. How it works
An Owner or Parent in a SlumberPal family can find their family’s personal code, such as PAL-7K2Q, and a link in Parent mode under Share SlumberPal, and share them with friends.
Your friend gets a discount on their first year of Plus yearly. The discounted price, and the normal yearly price it renews at afterwards, are shown in the app and the store before they pay. Your friend must enter your code, or open your link, before they buy.
You get 30 days of Plus for each friend who becomes a paying customer, up to six friends in any 12 months. If your family already has a Plus subscription, the 30 days are added to it; otherwise they are given to your family as free Plus time. Families who hold Plus Lifetime do not currently receive a reward.
2. When a friend counts
A friend counts when they are new to Plus, have used your code to buy Plus yearly, and their first payment has gone through. We give you the reward 14 days after that payment. If the payment is refunded within those 14 days, there is no reward; if it is refunded later, we may remove reward time you have not yet used.
Your friend must be a different family from yours, with their own adults, store accounts and devices. One discount per family, per store account and per device.
3. Sharing your code
Share your code personally with people you know, for example in a message or on your own social media. When you share it, make clear that you get a reward if they join; the caption the app suggests already says so.
You must not post your code on voucher or coupon sites, pay to promote it, send it in bulk messages or to people who have not agreed to hear from you, or say anything about SlumberPal that is not true. Do not share a child’s name or picture with your code.
4. Our rights
We may refuse, cancel or take back a reward, and retire a code, if a code is misused, a reward was obtained unfairly, or these terms are broken. Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
We may change or end the scheme. Rewards already earned before a change will still be given.
5. Your information
We do not ask for your friend’s contact details and never contact them on your behalf. When your friend uses your code, we record only that a family joined with it, so that we can give you your reward. We tell you that “a friend joined”, never who. More in our Privacy Notice.
