Delete a child, a pal or your account
You can delete a child, a pal you made yourself, or the whole account at any time. Only a grown-up with the right role can do it, and SlumberPal asks you to sign in again first.
In the app
- Open SlumberPal in Parent mode on your phone or tablet and sign in.
- Open the family settings and choose what to delete.
- Confirm with a fresh sign-in.
What you can delete:
- A child. The child’s profile, schedules and settings are removed. Other children, shared family pals and your plan stay.
- An own pal. Your own pal and its stored media are removed from every screen and for every child. Deleting a child offers this as a separate step.
- The account and family. Every child, own pal and setting is removed. The screen explains who is paying and what happens to a subscription first.
Deleting does not cancel a subscription. Manage that in the App Store or Google Play.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app, email support@slumberpal.app from the address you signed up with. Say what to delete: a child, an own pal or the account. We may ask you to confirm before we delete anything.
How long it takes
- Our systems stop using the data and begin erasing it in under 24 hours.
- Erasure is complete, including copies held by our providers and backups, within 30 days at most.
- A screen that is switched off or has no connection cannot be reached. It clears what it holds when it next connects, and you can reset it on the device. We cannot erase a device we cannot connect to, or copies of photos you kept yourself.
